HostGator for your WordPress Blog

If you want to go ahead with the paid hosting route, you will have a new decision to make: Where should you have your blog hosted? There are many options to choose from, but my one of my favorites is HostGator.

HostGator Website Hosting Review

HostGator is one of top web hosting sites on the Internet. They have been providing great web services since 2002 and currently host over 9 million domain names! I’ve never had a problem when using them to host my blogs and websites.

Why You Should Use HostGator for your WordPress Blog

  • Unlimited Web Hosting – With HostGator, you can host as many domain names on a single account as you wish (Baby or Business Plans). There is also unlimted disk space (everything you would upload to your site: text, images, etc uses this space) and unlimited bandwidth (which deals with how much data is transferred when people load your site on their computers).
  • Excellent Customer Service – Every time I have contacted HostGator, whether it be their quick chat or by submitting a ticket, they responded in a helpful, professional, and timely manner.
  • Almost Zero Downtime – I cannot think of a single time my blogs went down on HostGator. No web host is perfect though, so it’s possible that it went down for maintenance or something during the night. I never noticed any downtime or had anyone contact me about it.
  • No Contract – You can cancel your service is HostGator at any time.
  • Instant Backups – You can protect your blogs and all other information with this feature. This prevents you from losing your posts, images, and more. It is essential that you keep your blogs backed up, and HostGator will take care of that for you.
HostGator Review

If you decide to go with HostGator, be sure to use the coupon code:  so your first month will be just one penny! That way, you can test out their service and see how you like it. Once your first month is up, you will pay around $7/month for the web hosting, which I find to be completely worth it.

We will be happy to hear your thoughts
